The Haven of Rest is in its 25th year of serving the needs of the Big Bend's homeless and transient men. Background screening is required. Refuge House provides services to battered women, their children, sexual assault survivors and works to eliminate the conditions in society that allow such violence. Shelter residents participate in counseling, support groups and case management.
